Royal Heights central facilities comprise of a large lounge/entertainment area, dinning room, reception, a doctors' visiting room, reception area, and two Sunrooms opening to the beautifull central gardens. Residents enjoy the privacy and independence of their own room, surrounded by treasured family mementos. All rooms are single with ensuite bathrooms but arrangements can be made for the joining of adjacent rooms to accommodate couples. Each room has a heater, and a nurse call bell by the bed and in the ensuite. Although a public phone and television is provided for residents, connections for a personal television and private telephone line are provided. Some rooms feature a small cobbled patio surrounded by gardens. Tranquil, easily accesable gardens, located at the hub of the rest home, provide outdoor seating areas and forever changing views from almost everywhere in the home. Raised garden beds allow easy tending. To promote a safe living environment, a 24 hour-a-day emergency call system provides access to qualified personnel. Bathrooms, toilets, and hallways are fitted with support rails, and the building is fully featured with sprinklers, automatic smoke doors, fire retardent furnishings, and smoke alarms directly linked to the fire department.
